Y'all, what about the VanDerWerff article from Dec 22nd? Pretty sure he wrote about Murphy in a conference call with the FX bros about how season 2 would be a totally different setting/family. Maybe they'll tie in the antichrist in a later season, but I'm pretty sure this is it for this storyline.

I don't know if I'm remembering correctly, but didn't the pope box thing say that THE BEAST would be born half spirit, half human? Isn't that what Jesus was, too? I don't understand the whole good/evil politics here.
