But Princeton is SUPER traditional in its schooling methods. If you're not used to writing essays and taking exams at very strict standards, you will probably be both miserable and unsuccessful. Brown, on the other hand…

Ok, that is delicious and I will not stand for your denigration of it.

This would've been more convincing if they also had two actors of the same gender do the same thing, but overall this is how I read it too.

One of my favorite links is between Ellen's comment about how frightening it is to see Geoffrey talking to an empty chair and Geoffrey's decision to leave Banquo's ghost out in favor of having Macbeth talking to an empty chair. It's one of those startling moments where madness and insight blur. I kind of wish Geoffrey

Also, we don't ever get to see her being this transcendently brilliant actress that everyone says she is. The show is usually so good about that, but while we see her being decent enough on stage, we never see her really shine. Lady Macbeth has a great soliloquy - could we not have seen that at some point this season?

I enjoyed it, but I think that was largely because I recognized the actress from Warehouse 13. It was fun to see that in retrospect. And she does make a rather charming Juliet, even if I'm still disappointed we didn't get to see Rachel McAdams in that role. (But the best performance I've seen from her was still one

I really like The Lizzie Bennet Diaries, but I couldn't make it through the first of School of Thrones. I'll wait and see when there are more done.

There's less that's really egregiously BAD about the show this year, but there's also less that's actually good. All my favorite bits from last year (you know, the actual theater stuff) got polished out when they were smoothing down the cracks. Most of all I miss when the show trusted its songs and its singers enough

@avclub-068ceb597ad73e8b3d2fca6bde54a4ff:disqus Ah, curse my reluctance to parse the construction of sentences on The AV Club! I see that now.

You found The Avengers joyless? Man. I walked out of the theater going, "Wow, what a fun superhero movie! Who'd've thought?"

@avclub-55ab1e0836b46cc575ee502254e68ea9:disqus I see that it's filming in Brooklyn. I live in the upper reaches of Manhattan, but I might have to venture that way…

I've seen these pictures in, like, four different places, but they never get old.

I got an advance copy of this last summer sort of by accident, so I also made the inevitable comparisons to Looper (only, the other way around). Though it also makes for a good promotional hook: "If you liked Looper, try this book!"

I saw a Justified poster on the subway the other day, and this was the first thing that popped into my head.

Oh man, I SO wanted to be on GUTS as a kid. To me that was one of those shows where even if you didn't win, doing those challenges would've been awesome enough. I just wanted to play!

J. Crew doesn't charge for the normal stylists, as far as I'm aware. I didn't have an appointment, though, just a determined aunt and an enthusiastic & smart dressing room attendant/stylist.

Someone on my Facebook posted something to the effect of, "He's been talking for 10 hours without a teleprompter. Take notes, Mr. President." I was just…I don't know, I'd rather have our president do actual presidenting rather than sit around memorizing speeches all day and/or make them up on the spot.

I WILL FIGHT YOU FOR GILBERT BLYTHE.

Well, I'm sure what you say is interesting, but you told me not to read your comment, so I can't respond. Um. How about that theatre?
