If you like this band, they are pretty much the current masters of paranoia. The music itself is unnerving, and once you work out what the lyrics are (not a simple task), you'll be on edge every time you listen to them. It's not violent or intimidating, just this little itch that gets under your skin and has you

Nope. When I worked in radio, there was another DJ (who only did one show a week and wasn't super involved) who thought the same.

There was one shot where Hulk made everyone standing next to/in front of him look fake and superimposed, which was bizarre. I can't decide if this says good or terrible things about the CG. Regardless, it was a bad effect.

Well, that's a curiously effective way to render yourself INSANELY ATTRACTIVE.

That would have been a different world.

And it's in all the trailers, though whether or not she's pretending to be Pocahontas or Katniss depends on whether your version was cut before or after The Hunger Games came out.

It's a more expensive proposition than seeing all the Oscar-nominated movies, that's for sure.

I've seen a lot of praise for Newsies, but I've also seen a couple videos of the musical numbers, and I'm seriously disappointed in the dancing. It's technically very good, but the dances in the movie were boyish and athletic, flavored with folk and clog dancing. This is ballet-based. That was something I could

When it does that to me, it then refuses to play the show I'm trying to watch. What magic are you using to get ad-free Hulu?

Recent eps? Hulu. Netflix usually doesn't put them up until the DVD comes out. But Netflix has no commercials at all.

I'm SO disappointed that their upcoming show in Brooklyn sold out in under 24 hours. Can't listen to this while at work, but that was a terrible thing to discover.

So…you don't know many college students, then? (Though, to be fair, we did have cable in the dorms. But most of us couldn't be bothered with getting an actual television.)

Apparently this is because it sort of spells out "YAY?"

I don't think Boneshaker is really considered YA, given that one of the two POV characters is the mother. Just having a teenaged character doesn't make it automatically YA. Sometimes it's lumped in there, but it was published by Tor Books rather than Tor Teen, so I think the publisher itself considers it adult.

Between American Gods & Anansi Boys hitting the NYT list and Coraline & Stardust being made into not-failures of movies, I think there are enough reference points for the general population to recognize him. He's come a long way in terms of widespread recognition from being a comics author. Actually, I didn't read

"It's a crossover hit! They're telling human stories in a fantasy world!"

…and I just started singing, "And you take the cow to the killing floor…" because that's apparently what happens in my brain every time Ron sings.

Sure. But season 3 was about as close to a perfect season of television as you can get - there's not a single off episode. So a step down from it is still pretty damn great.

Agreed. Iron Man 2 was so disappointing that I wasn't remotely interested in this one, but she's a pretty fantastic and very charming actress, so now I am.

Especially considering they know Dev, her live-in boyfriend of several years. Or do they think that's an elaborate ruse?
