If you're looking for a modern NWOBHM throwback band, check out In Solitude.  They have plenty of other influences (Mercyful Fate, for example), but NWOBHM is certainly the most prevalent.  Either of their releases is great but "The World, The Flesh, The Devil" is more NWOBHM-y.
