To me there were at least as many unique ideas during RTD's run, but
maybe that's just me. Yes he did tend to make things a bit over
emotional at times, but at least he kept things character centered,
instead of crazy concept centered.

I've been doing my best to hang in there with Moffat through this season, but this episode was too much. Season five was, in a way, a nice departure from the monster of the week episodes that made up most of Davies' run. Although it was overly complex at times, the Amy/Doctor connection kept it pretty well anchored…
