still think this lineup is better then what PS4 is offering...which is strange given that PS is FOR GAMERS and the Xb1 has been painted as everything BUT games. but in 6-8 months, it won't really matter anyway, with titanfall, destiny and infamous coming.

Exactly. PS4 or Xbox One could easily run 4K Quake. It would look really sharp, but when you get down to it it still looks like Quake.

Neither the article nor the press release mentions the layout. Maybe I'm missing it somewhere, but since it doesn't seem to be specified whether it's rear- or front-wheel-drive, I'm gonna have to assume that it's FWD. The CVT thing kinda bears this out too.

If it wasn't for the lag issue, this would make a lot of sense for owners of both consoles. Being able to switch between the two so quickly would be awesome.
