I think it would be kind of cool if the corresponding image was an in-game screenshot of your character and the environment at the moment you completed the requirements of the achievement.

The review at Polygon hits on the repetition a little more and killed my enthusiasm for the game. You can replay levels, but you have to pay credits. If you don't have enough credits you can play the free credit level over and over until you get enough, or buy them with microtransactions. That doesn't sound fun at…

I was actually expecting this from almost all of the launch titles. New look, same mistakes. It'll take both consoles a while before they start to get those defining games.

I'm curious to how it compares to Panzer Dragoon games. Are there any Kotaku editors who HAVE played PZ that are able to weigh in on this?

Not until 6am ET on Thursday morning for Ryse. Sorry we have to keep you waiting until the last minute on that one. As most companies do, Microsoft set the times for how early advance reviews can run. And they won't let Ryse run until then. At least it gives me more time to play!

I hope everyone who is getting the Xbox One enjoys it, and there isn't any major issues. :)

I'll be happy when its finally out. I'm hoping the "war" will die down a bit and people will just have fun playing video games for a while. I won't be getting an Xbox One, but to those who are, I hope its everything you wanted.
