Wow. People here really don’t like Kojima huh? What about the other publications who gave this game perfect 10s? Did they have a cameo too? Maybe this game is just good, ever think of that?

It’s entirely possible the game will win awards on its own merits (it really is a breath of fresh air in modern game design; sure, it’s got all of Kojima’s trademark pomposity and eighth-grade-level-understanding of nuance/subtlety, but still, it’s a solid experience), but yeah—the optics of the thing will raise

I am in the middle of chapter 2 but I have to say I am greatly enjoying the undisturbed slowness of the first few hikes. The music that slowly picks up as the camera pulls back to reveal the vast empty world as you slowly hike through it have been my favorite parts.

Semantics are important, because words mean things.

Is it really a huge burst of content though? People played Overwatch for the pvp, what few pve events they ever had were just repetitive seasonal grinds. Kaplan announcing that they’ve been dragging their asses on releasing more pvp content that people bought the game for so they could focus on adding even more pve to

It DOES matter because they imply different things. Why do you think we’re all here talking about it?

Man gaming gamers fucking sucks these days.

By not reading it

The Boomers hated on their parents. Called them squares and said they didn’t get it. So now, it’s what goes around, comes around. Circle of life and whatnot.

“not all boomers”

If you have to attack women for wanting to not be attacked by random dudes online, you have the insight of a flea.

I swear, it’s as if some of those people think cooties are a legitimate health risk.

It’s a sad irony that the people most critical of all-girl gaming groups are the ones most complicit in fostering an environment that necessitates their existence.

Wishing this group nothing but success.

Jokes and writing in Borderlands were always a mixed bag, generally not funny. But it’s part of the world they created, and it fits their world, so you live with it or you don’t. You could say the same thing about BL1 and BL2 and TPS. Nothings changed except maybe some people were younger back then than they are now.

As Kurt Vonnegut said, we must be careful who we pretend to be.

What a cool fanbase you’ve cultivated, dude.

Funny how when you punch down, you attract other people with a history of punching down.

“Marvel was paying nearly all of the production costs in exchange for getting Spider-Man.”
