I was just there for Christmas.
I’m personally convinced that this book is like a whiter, 1920's version of Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Which is perfectly fine if you’re into that, but it’s hardly revelatory.
Having said that, shitting on fan-fic is soooo 2000 Anne Rice. Readers are so invested in the world you’ve created for them that you’ve…
This is the only correct answer. Pull for your candidate until the primary is settled, but for the love of Cthulhu once it is settled get behind the agreed to candidate.
“Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good” is perhaps more applicable here than anywhere else. Not voting for anyone but the perfect Democratic candidate will get you Donald Trump 2.0, period.
This^^^^^ No matter who the Democratic nominee is, get off your ass and go vote. You've seen what gets in when you don't.
In the end, it honestly doesn’t matter who is the Democratic nominee. YOU MUST VOTE FOR THAT PERSON!!!!1111
No. NO.

Since the beginning of this column I have waited for 27 Dresses, because it has a terrible reputation and is actually great. James Marsden is, as usual, amazing, and it’s Heigl’s best romantic comedy work. She has a dream man in Ed Burns and actually gets a shot with him, but it doesn’t work out because they just…
He went to the Ted Mosby school of grieving.
That whole scene is baffling to me. The idea that he’s in love with his best friend’s wife is human and relatable, his shame about his creepy wedding video and her dawning realization is well-done...but the cue cards...I dunno. I have no idea what I am supposed to do with any of that information. I think the thing…
Yeah, I think the Colin story is more silly than awful (and, given how certain of my female acquaintances have reacted to otherwise-unremarkable men with British accents over the years, I suspect there may be some exaggerated autobiography at play on Curtis’s part).
I think she was actually 17 when they were shooting it.
Close. That blond kid is the same actor who played Jojen Reed on Game of Thrones.
I don’t agree about Hugh Grant firing Natalie because she was harassed by POTUS Billy Bob. I think he had her reassigned because he had romantic feelings for her and he didn’t want that messing up his job. That was always my interpretation.
The adorable kid romance is also mixed race, as I recall.
Not to mention that weren’t a couple of the love interests Hispanic? The one woman didn’t speak a word of English. And the ginger kid was obsessed with a girl who is mixed race as well.
To me, the two weirdest things about the movie is that wee Sam’s love interest Olivia Olson eventually became the voice of Marceline in Adventure Time, and that Keira Knightley was a teenager when she played this part.
I really enjoy Love Actually. It just makes me smile and feel hopeful.
