Dear Germany,
Young men who want to drive faster than they should gravitate to cheap, relatively high powered RWD cars. It’s not about Mustangs in particular.
Yes
Back when I had my Mustang, it got a reaction out of just about anyone I mentioned it to, got in it, or saw me in it.
You’ll look and sound cooler and get more pussy in a GT though.
A great story, and sound troubleshooting advice for anything.
And yet Triumph isn’t even on the list. Slanderous click-bait!
Hey, what’s with all the RWD Corollas ending up in scrap yards? Where we live they’re almost worshipped (2T, 4A and 13B is our unofficial Trinity.)
It was as if 112 horses cried out, and then were suddenly silenced.
Completely agree, driving my series everyday to school. Sure everyone has a Jeep (let alone one with a manual), but those just aren't as cool and driving it is the most priceless experience ever. Everyone beeps and waves at you and asks for rides. Wouldn't trade it for the world.
It's not complaining, it's a wishlist.
The problem I have is that in the few times I have had an automatic transmission foisted on me by rental companies, I mostly find that they don't live up to the hype of "what modern marvels current day DCT's and automatics are." Full Disclosure, over the last few years those automatics were a 2011 Chrysler Town and…
My family car growing up/DD when I was a teenager was a 1987 Ford Aerostar with a 5-speed manual. It was awesome. If someone made a RWD minivan with a stick and a modern (300+HP) engine today, I'd buy one. You can get the soon-to-be-discontinued Mazda5 with a stick but it's too small to really be a "minivan" by…
No car needs a manual, but if there's one car today that a manual would perfectly suited for it's the 4C.
It needs a manual from an enthusiast standpoint. I drove one, it's a good box but for the money I'd rather go the Cayman route or even a Vette. I want to drive the car, it's about the experience not shaving fractions of a second. Now for comparison the 458 I drove is just fine with the paddles, it's so god damn fast…
