Are they all good? My boys LOVED Pirate Fairy and I’d love to have other ones to show them when they ask to watch that again and again.
I think my boys would even love that. They looooooved Pirate Fairy on Netflix. Watched it over and over when they first saw it. All the gender specific stuff means nothing to a 3 year old. Pirates? Fairies? They’re IN.
While I am obviously against peoples private data being exposed, a comment I read elsewhere that said now these people will also know how it feels to have their trust betrayed kinda sticks with me. Who is hurt worse really? The spouse that finds out her husband cheated, or the cheating spouse whose wife found out…
Really what’s wrong with wish-fulfillment? The thing about fanfic is that it isn’t canon, if you hate what someone does with the characters, don’t read their stuff. I’ve had PLENTY of experiences where I read a paragraph and realized the person a) couldn’t write the English language for shit b) had different opinions…
My method of “read it all” is not working for finding the “best” so far...
Gah, I have tried like 3 times to watch Hannibal. Numerous episodes each try and I still can’t do it. It is just too stupidly gorey for me. Gore over plot or excessive unnecessary gore just doesn’t work. I wanted so badly to like it, but I have come to terms with the fact that I did not.
Kids understand the difference between a ‘thanks for showing up’ party favor and a trophy you get for winning something.
Sometimes you are tired and ordering and eating dessert is just way more mental energy than you can expend. Sometimes you’d rather sleep than spend 5 more minutes eating dessert. Man I love having kids. :( :)
Or not! It can still be fun regardless!! (not if it NEVER happens, but sometimes you just aren’t gonna, at least for me it’s that way)
Maybe it’s just because I’m boring and married and tired, but I don’t orgasm plenty of times that we have sex and I’m totally okay with that. I like being close to my husband, it feels really good even without orgasming and I’m a weirdo who has to really focus and be REALLY in the mood to have one.
That is exactly who! lol Much more concise than I am.
Target market? Presumably moral vegans and vegetarians and poor people? If they can get it to where it is cheaper than real meat, and real meat becomes the delicacy I think that’s where it’ll go. If I can afford real meat, I’ll eat that. If I can’t, I’ll get the lab grown stuff. Morality makes no difference to me as I…
Moral downsides to meat make no difference to me. Animals eat other animals, why shouldn’t humans eat other animals too? I am not a fan of factory farming and all that, but toootally okay with eating cows sans an iota of guilt. Environmental concerns sure.
Internet Rule #3, never google image search something unless you know what it is!
Do you see this as a positive or a negative? I’d say positive, but then if bald eagle lab grown burgers are a huge hit, wouldn’t “fresh, rare, naturally grown” bald eagle burgers be a popular delicacy?
I read some foodie book (Anthony Bourdain? I don’t know, something) that when someone orders beef well done or medium well, they give him the shittiest cut of meat they have because all the flavor will be burned out of it anyway. I always do medium rare, because I love the fleshiness of it (sounds super gross tho…
I also stopped watching last year, glad to know it hasn’t gotten better again!
I stopped watching last season, but I very much enjoyed the study of human sexuality part of the show... not so much the relationship drama. So yeah I agree that different people look to tv shows for different things. It got too soapy for me (and I love soap operas, but I tune in to those knowing what I am watching…
