Placentas suck! I had to have my babies 11 weeks early because of pre-eclampsia (which my docs say most likely begins with the placenta and a sign of it for me was reverse cord flow back into the placenta), and a friend had an abruption that ended tragically due to placenta issues.

I have a weird one. If my kid drinks milk (whole or 2%) he gets poop that gives him a bleeding diaper rash. Not diarhea, just normal poop that gives him a horrific rash. Makes me a bit sad to read this as my boys had NG tubes in the NICU. Sorry it was so horrible!

Air and stethoscope is how every nurse checked the NG tubes on my preemies for 2 months. Never once did they get an xray to check placement.

Could be a completely different situation, but my premature babies were fed through NG tubes for at least 1.5 months and even with significant reflux, they never vomited as it was taken out. They also never suffered any ill effects from constant NG use, but they were not on Reglan.

Thanks to this trailer, my two 3 year olds begged to watch Star Wars for the first time. First half of it done, second half after some outside time.
