lol At least you have a well thought out perspective.

It's probably the blind rage.

Hope she doesn't sob too hard and poke an eye out on one of her Emmys.

LOL at the idea of pitying Tina Fey.

Another good point. Very insulting to the child being adopted and kind of horrifying that anyone would become a parent to be noble!

I just wanted to say that I'm so sorry for your difficulties. I haven't been in that exact place, but I have had some shitty times with infertility and it all just sucks. Good luck in the future.

Whhhhhhhhhhhyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy did I let myself get pulled into the "just adopt!" fight... I kinda want to start saying that to anyone who announces a pregnancy, just so fertiles can see how it feels to have their reproductive choices belittled like happens to infertiles all the time.

My two 2 year olds are grouches too. I think they have a cold but it's mainly manifesting in being in a foul mood about everything.

It is not the job of the infertile to adopt all the children of the world. Women with functional uteruses can adopt too, but no one shits all over them when they have a biological child.

Yeah, maybe they're trying to tell you that there's all this amazing science and reproductive medicine that can help you conceive. Think before you fucking speak about people who have trouble conceiving, it's painful enough without this kind of crap.

Way to shit on the infertile.

Just going to put it out there that pretty much the most painful thing you can ever say to a woman going through infertility is "Why don't' you just adopt." Don't say it unless you are trying to cause someone who is already in a lot of pain, more pain.

I think kids make you feel like the luckiest person ever (when they laugh, smile, kiss you) and like the person with the shittiest luck ever (when they are screaming bloody murder at 2am, 3am, and 4am).

Hahahahahahahhaaha having time to "maintain" my relationship with my husband... what is that like again?

I've never even heard of Plex. Looking into it now! Thanks!

The weirdest thing about not having cable or watching live tv is that now I have NO idea when stuff is on! It's Tuesday? Yeah, no idea. I'll realize it when it shows up in my Hulu Queue.

Yup, that's totally what we used to do. We cancelled cable and DVR though! Get everything from Hulu Plus, Netflix, Amazon Instant, HBOGO/Showtime Anytime (my parents log in, since they don't use it), channel websites, and one or two shows we just watch live. There is pretty much nothing I used to watch that I can't

Same here. But once in a while I get a thrill thinking "Whoa, if I wanted to watch New Girl, it's airing live in 20 minutes!!! I could watch it way sooner if I watch it live!" But then there are commercials... downside.

Globes and Downton... Globes and Downton... so hard! I'm pretty sure we'll watch Downton tomorrow night on PBS.org and just have the Globes in the background tonight. Or just go to bed early. I currently prefer sleep to most forms of entertainment.

I am of the opinion that there are some fears it is okay to not face down. If you do not want to risk another loss, that is 100% OKAY. If you and your husband really want to be parents, you will find a way that works for you.
