Great article! This issue affects all software development but these game developers are particularly egregious.

It’s a cool experiment but the part I disagreed with is that it takes a colony 2 million years to “reproduce”.  Humanity went from mud/straw huts to spaceflight in less than 10,000 years. If our goal was galactic settlement we would spread much faster than this model.
