Jesus fucking… AAA might want to consider asking engineers about the things they engineer before doing stuff. If the manufacturer tells you to use premium, just use premium. Here’s the real why: Exhaust gas temperatures.

Amen.

I just put tires on my car today. Called a shop I’ve gone to before and asked what kind of summer tires he could get for my size. He seemed perplexed when I said I have no use for an all season tire in Florida, and told me they don’t make summer tires anymore, they’re all all season now.

But, but, all wheel drive! More wheels. Moar better...

Snow tires and cheap rims are so much cheaper than the price premium for AWD. You’d think they carry the plague the way most American react to this approach.

I actually had a guy at a local tire shop recommend an all season over a snow (which is what I asked for) because I drive a Subaru.

Guess where I didn’t buy tires..

Uh, technically it IS all wheel stop. Almost every vehicle made in the last 50 years has all wheel stop.

As someone who works at a Toyota dealership, I can’t tell you how many people say “Who needs snow tires? I can just get AWD and be fine!” or “I really need AWD for Winter.”

I’ve pissed a lot of customers off reminding them it’s All Wheel DRIVE, not All Wheel STOP. The belief that All Seasons, quite literally, work in

Photoshop. Found the original.

I hated playing baseball as a kid. My parents thought I needed to play a sport and signed me up for baseball. Outfield was where they stuck the kids they knew either didn’t want to play or couldn’t play well, and much like this comic strip, no one took the time to actually teach fundamentals. Time was devoted solely

I heard somewhere that the Fit is go. Can’t remember where.

I’ll gladly kill the pregnant roller skate sedan with fire. Super awkward looking.

I would argue it’s the weight from the truck nuts, but the seat covers probably didn’t help either.

Meanwhile, in a brand new Toyota.

The ducks may be unlimited, but common sense seems to be in short supply.

I wonder if those seat covers have cutouts for the side impact airbags.

I bet the extra weight from the hideously tacky cammo seat covers may have overloaded the suspension causing it to snap...

wow. glad the woman was okay.
