I’ve been a Scion apologist for a while. When it first materialized with its three cars - xA, xB, and tC - I thought it was a cool little company with affordable, customization-ready cars and hilarious commercials. Fast-forward a bit and we have a completely different story. Like the PT Cruiser, their hip image slowly

The story calls the iM a crossover, but I’ve seen it and it’s not

1st gear: Seems a tad excessive, but then again, if they couldn’t be trusted do it themselves...
2nd gear: Amount of people surprised by this: zero.
3rd gear: Interesting.
4th gear: Meh. Probably more crossovers.
5th gear: The iM isn’t a crossover, no. Both might bring more people in, or they might not work. Speaking

This. Get a Toyota Avalon Hybrid. They even have a Livery Package. Gas is a HUGE expense for Limo companies and the Avalon Hybrid will get twice at least the fuel economy of a Lincoln Town Car.

Good choice. I like the Avalon for what it is. Surpringly quick, too.

Toyota Avalon?

To find out more, we’ll just have to ride it ourselves.

I was ready to say “good riddance” to the mid-size sedans until I read that they’re being replaced by “crossovers”.

And yet, if the manufacturer has a real incentive to be efficient:

Yes?

1st Gear: As The Crossover Rises

Oh excellent. So when the roads are full of crossovers, everyone will suddenly want a height advantage over everyone else like they do now. Meaning people are going to start jacking their stupid crossovers up and turning them into bro-crossovers (BroOvers?).

Dollar for dollar a sedan is a better deal than a CUV. Also for me a CUV still has too many draw backs compared to a proper wagon.

I hate to say it but I don’t see Acura lasting that much longer. I have an Acura dealership close to my house and I swear they have more (non Acura) used cars than they do new. Suzuki dealerships did they same thing before they collapsed. Now they sell exclusively off lease BMWs. The dealers are hurting and Acura
