Why come fanboi when every Sony game is just a 3rd person narrative adventure with lots of exposition while climbing? Ratchet & Clank is basically Sunset Overdrive, which Spider-Man reuses a lot of animations from by the way. I love those games, I’ve enjoyed almost all the big exclusives from Sony but there is a way

I don’t like racing games, my kids don’t like racing games, but Forza Horizon games were the most played games in our household for a long time. Amazing level of chill fun.

MS Flight Simulator is super niche? The game that had over one million players within the first few weeks it was released?

I’m a strong believer of separating art from artists, but when possible buying things in ways that don’t give shitty people money.    Buy Detroit: Become Human used at a GameStop so that it doesn’t filter money to David Cage.    It’s a genuinely good game.

Now playing

I wouldn’t have thought anyone could approach this level of ridiculousness in court much less surpass it... but here we are.

The real fucking sad part of all of this is that if there was any sort of way I could of somehow squeezed my way in there and actually make some sort of actual cash on all of that dumb shit, I would of been there in a heartbeat, even knowing that it was going to implode in on itself while contributing to fucking up

It wasn’t even really commissioning art though that’s the absurd thing. It was typically idiots “buying” something that had already been on the internet for years and can be reproduced in moments indefinitely by anyone.

Maybe they could make it available on the Xbox Design Lab if it were available

Dear Microsoft, make this controller available to the public, I want it and probably a few thousand other people do as well. If you have no scruples selling a “pro” controller for $180, you can at least put this thing on the market.

All these controllers are going to get sold on Ebay eventually for huge prices since they are so rare

The entire game is free this month, not just chapter 1.

So, not cheating, but piracy. That’s much better.

Less about cheating, more about piracy

Literally hacking the game in it’s alpha stage to allow anyone access and free reign of the game despite constraints Blizzard wants to keep in place, and people think this is ok? Insanity in these comments.

Definitely happened in the music world too. I don’t know why anyone would waste their time even attempting something that would be so obviously illegal.

I hate capitalism, but this is a fair trade. Give them money, get a fun game. You’re acting like you buy a game, and they take away the fun.

The issue here is entirely that this was not "modding", it was hacking the alpha so you didn't have to have legit access

Blizz is surprisingly in the right here, though. A guy cracked their closed, invite-only Alpha meant for QA purposes at a larger scale.

Did you even read the article? They’re literally pirating the game and illegally distributing it to people.

The game isn’t even out yet. Sorry but the modders are in the wrong here. Not to mention mod tools a used to cheat a lot of times.
