Iris talking about Barry being miserable that first night at her house broke my heart, especially when I remember how he saw his mother die. Saying he was the happiest boy she'd ever seen before that really made me sad, its a wonder he didn't go on to become Batman. I know it's fiction but I felt so sorry for him

To be fair Caitlin's lovelife is the worst. All the men she likes always end up dead. In fact they did this to Iris too so I am hoping for an ending where she hooks up with Julian but keeps her powers and helps Barry in the field. This would be too easy of course so it probably won't happen
