It just seems so empty in all the previews I've watched - I guess I'm just spoiler by the visual of the Clone Wars 4 seasons in/

What's in between mediocre and great? I think the answer to that question would be worth a billion dollars in Hollywood.

It always amazes me just how you can tell it's not Prowse and Mayhew in those costumes. No matter how good the costuming effort is, they just don't move right, and Chewie's eyes are just all wrong. I like the ads, especially the Curry's Manager in the Jerjerrod role (always my favourite Moff), but seeing someone else

I have to say your "investment" model really scares me. It's a side of computer games de-sensitising people that I had never considered. :P

Because children have more life ahead of them, that's more years stolen by the murder. Also, they are likely a lot more innocent of any reason to kill them than an adult. And also because we are programmed to protect the young of our species to insure our genetic future.

I've often found with Literary writers "slumming it" in genre fiction that I really wish that they would learn the rules of the genre before they try to break them, because so often they end up retreading the same ground as a hundred genre novels before them.

Generally OK with this, except for the inclusion of The Ring over Ringu. I did not sleep for a week after watching Ringu, the Ring barely made me twitch. It was because Ringu didn't have any music in the background or any jump scares to break the tension, it just built and built until the final horror.

You know a film is quite effective when it can trigger off your vertigo in a youtube clip.

"At precisely the moment that M. Night Shyamalan proved he was a directorial disaster..." might be more accurate.

Totally agree. And then they can tell us something new. It would make the whole series a valid extension of the novels.

All I want from this series is for Roland to start the first episode with the Horn of Eld. Then whatever they do to it after that is fine by me.

It's a future that they could barely imagine.

Yeah, but then he will become infested with psychic space lice and turn into a blue ninja/cyborg/panther, die twice and come back as Rogue's father who was secretly Mr Sinister's twin.

After the last one I will not see another. I will stand up to my abuser and say "No". I will not go back for more, no matter how many reviews say that the action is slower and easier to follow or that the performances are better.
