Since moving here from Missouri a few years ago - a state with inspections - I’ve seen things I can’t believe are allowed on public roads. Truly dangerous vehicles driving around.

Ah, Michigan. Proof that maybe vehicle inspections SHOULD exist.

Ask her what’s worse:

Yeah, well I got directed to a David Tracy article.

Let it go, Dave. The Grand Wagoneer needs your time, energy and money. Project Swiss Cheese will donate its organs so that others may live.

Counterpoint: Lamborghini needs to give the wannabe jet fighter design language a break.

I approve this story, especially the part about telling children to run out into a busy street to do the manual labor while adults supervise.

I was so sad when Volvo dumped the “parking ticket/toll receipt clip” that always used to be on the front of the dash (in Europe, I think it was supposed to hold up the parking clock that some cities make you use?) Also, I almost forgot that I used to use the big honkin’ ash tray in the center console of my old RWD

To be fair, Cracked doesn’t understand 95% of what they make articles and videos about

I’m pretty handy, and I can pretty much do anything I really research enough, but upholstery is next level hard. I tried some simple stuff, starting with making some bags and some foot stool covers, etc. I tried a seat cover for my jeep 3 times and have concluded it’s actually impossible and upholsterers are wizards.

uh...

Behind every guy who builds a car like this at home (over 18 months - or more), is a better (understanding & patient) woman. Kudos to both.
