You’ve clearly never worked retail or customer service in your life.

Apparently when you gave Thanos the Time gem, you saw all other realities except this one...

Unlike capitalism, which is the original multi level marketing cult that allows one person at the top of the pyramid to live off the efforts of millions of people hard work where they only get a small fraction of the money their efforts are generating because the cult leader gets to get 90% of it.

Well, if they’re employees of a company selling his product their job is, in a sense, help this guy (and many other corporations) make money.”

It sucks being told by your boss that you are not working hard enough.
It sucks even more to be told that you are not working hard enough by someone who is not your boss.
It sucks more than both of those to be told by a rich celebrity that you are not working hard enough to personally make them more money.

I’m a human being who has worked retail, any moment you’re there you’re some level of annoyed and especially so when some self-important dickhead shows up to fuck up whatever you were in the middle of.

Do boots taste better the harder you lick them? Is that why you post things like this?

Stop posting already.

If you can’t read between the lines of this story about a shitty celebrity coming into an unethically low-paying job and complaining about the location’s low sales numbers on his trash merch, then I’d argue that you’re more likely the person who’s never done retail work. That wouldn’t be fun for anyone but the largest

Every single person he annoyed had something better to do than help him make more money.  Fuck this guy.

and really, who cares how a single player title is doing a year post-release? It should be okay for it to be done for most people at this point.

I loved Elden Ring. It is an objective masterpiece and not only the greatest video game I’ve ever played, but also a legitimately transformative experience of art and play. Never once did PvP. No interest. Although I did watch a lot of PvP videos because I think it’s fascinating the skill level some people have and

Destiny 2 has a systems problem, but the fundamental gameplay is still unmatched. Once you get into the field, there’s nothing else like it.  It’s also one of the best looking FPS games with a really interesting setting and lore.  That’s why people still play it.

Likewise im surprised people respond to stuff they dont like.

Exactly, I am just hearing “We made a bigger haystack to hide some needles in”

More work on extraneous planets means less work on actual content.

I was sorta so-so on the trailer overall, but the gigantic triangle-shaped ship emerging out of nothing over the village was about the most Kirbyesque thing I’ve ever seen in a superhero movie.

Internet writer Nathan Rabin wrote a blog post parodying the guy complaining about “Woke Disneyland” a week or two back, and had a gem of a line in there:

Yeah that’s a better criticism here. Being a sexist pigfucker like this guy is bad, but in the hierarchy of sins, being a motherfucking war criminal or advisor-to-war-criminals is a hell of a lot worse, and they seem unrepentant about that hiring.

I wish. Doing evil shit but not swearing is the American Ideal of a good business.

I have to say, I have thoroughly enjoyed watching hedge fund parasites get a good and proper comeuppance while simultaneously demonstrating the need for aggressive Wall Street reform.
