I’ve been pretty floored by this game. The first few hours especially cast a spell on me. It’s not just the graphical fidelity (though that’s obviously pretty amazing), it’s the entire presentation, story, aesthetic. The way the ocean lights up when the depth charges hit, the subtle animations of a climbing young

Actually I still play the sh!t out of it. I’ve never been much for multiplayer, definitely preferring single player shooters, but for some reason this has been my gateway drug. It’s so fun.

As I’m fascinated by WW1, I’m actually mega-hyped for this. It’ll be my first of the series.

I have to assume this is how GRRM will do it in the books, and they’re just following his lead?

Yeah, Huffington Post did something similar before it even aired on the west coast. Super lame.

Sorry you’re so disappointed.

A more interesting question is where did Beric’s spirit go?

It’s funny, I read the books in isolation, and didn’t really finish Dance thinking he was dead, just attacked. I never really considered that GRRM would kill that character, in that fashion (cliffhanger). I wasn’t certain he even “died” until the show ended up portraying it, but come on, did anyone REALLY believe he

Different circumstances, but I had a somewhat similar experience. Tried to play it at the wrong time, enjoyed many aspects but it felt like a slog since I wasn’t in the right frame of mind. I’m going to get back to it soon.

Everything sucks.

Any chance this is coming to PS4? My PC sucks.

Surprised and pleased to find Oakland so high on the list. I’ve been here for over a decade & love it.

didn’t work.

?

Don’t know about the song, but the vid is great.

Excellent article. Always wanted to know more of his history.

It’s kinda weird to me that you’re so grossed out by your own body. We’re animals, not sterile digital beings. In all seriousness, you all should try to become more comfortable with the reality of your body. It’s ok.

It’s actually fairly sound reasoning, based on lived experience. No, it doesn’t apply in 100% of situations, but it’s a general truism that adversity breeds empathy. Whenever I encounter people who act contemptuous of the less fortunate, 9 times out of 10 they have lived a pampered life.
