1. People are desperate to find a case to undo the gains of MeToo and will amplify any edge case they can.

It’ll be like when Tommy Wiseau finally got we were goofing on his movie and he started pretending The Room was funny on purpose.

The existence of Wacky Date Rapist Quagmire alone is worth a little hate. He also gave work to James Woods, knowing full well that Woods is a conservative jagoff. Casual misogyny. Unnecessary trans panic jokes. Musical episodes that function as essentially one man karaoke (every Stewie/Brian Road To episode). Which

I know it’s a huge movie, but I’ve only seen it once and I’m more than twice their age. I didn’t see the Godfathers until my 40s, and then more out of a sense of obligation than real desire. Some people just aren’t into mob movies.

Fucking hell. What a shame.

Coming this Summer!

Pitchers lose their edge as they age.

The fine for this violation between 2011 and 2014 amounted to less than the profit of one quarter of their sales - for their lowest sales month of the four years for that truck.

Also no A/C and crank windows for the true experience

Ford employed a truck configuration it did not actually intend to sell to individual buyers – one that omitted such standard items as the spare wheel, tire and jack, radio, and center console

For the sake of brevity I left it at that but, yeah. That era where on several occasions Chappelle would stop the show cold and just sit there and smoke cigarettes until his time ran out. That was all about the contempt that he had for the audience cultivated by the popularity of the show.

“Something he used to complain about” is the understatement of the century. Dude literally walked out on a $50mil contract for season 3 of Chappelle’s Show because of that. Right before leaving for South Africa, he walked out of a show in Sacramento when people were chanting “I’m Rick James, bitch,” saying this before

I agree, a better comic could take the subject matter and actually say something funny and interesting. In the Carlin doc he does a pretty extensive bit about how any topic can be funny. It’s not that the topic is off limits but you can only cross that line if it’s funny.  Neither of these guys has an interesting take

Now playing

This clip has been making the rounds all week but some of y’all desperately need to see it.

He sounds like my brother, who justifies his homophobia by saying that he doesn’t want to think about guys fucking each other. It’s like he’s using reverse psychology on himself.

The world is waking up to the fact that “David Brent” wasn’t just a character that he played.

I think the only self-identification that needs questioning here is Gervais referring to himself as a ‘comedian’.

Good god, that quote sounds like something my dad would say before he goes on a rant about George Soros.

“I’m a plumber and I have to get out of the house quickly in the morning”
