Agreed.

Ditto, except cats. I've thought about this a lot, and this is my lottery-winning plan. Also to buy a few politicians who would enforce animal abuse laws.

Except that her name was last name first on the manifest, so it was "Alic aida." Still stupid, but it DOES work when said that way.

I had a crush on him then too. I loved that show, and often cite it as being one of the three or so best things ever on TV. Anther being Six Feet Under, THE BEST.

Preparing for backlash, but between this and the Mt. Everest deaths, I just can't with the adrenaline/daredevil sports pastimes. There's also a terrifying story about cave explorers in the week's New Yorker.

But, but . . . Jezebel!

It WAS weird! I have been to a whole platoon of different derms, in different towns, since I was 13. I was definitely old enough to know better, was very very much an adult, and knew myself. I could discern this sinking, hopeless depression and know it was not normal. You are right — what's to be gained by telling

The commute is soul-sapping. Mine is "only" 55 minutes now, but, like yours, so many components: walk, Metro, transfer, Metro, walk . . .before that I had 90-120 minutes in a car each way. Sigh. Here's to a better life for both of us.

Let me guess — Fredericksburg.

THOSE were assigned to you in high school????

Accutane. Topical remedies don't work.

Minnie Driver looks wonderful, not that that is the point.

Oh! That voice! Awful.

I really could not stand her in that. I think "wooden" is the word I'm looking for . . .

The best thing on television ever.

I was trying to be polite : )>

I think she has occasional gigs as a paid escort.
