My research involves health behavior and the literature definitely supports the idea that people are particularly irrational in these situations. Personally I've reached the point where vaccinations should be medically mandated. You don't get a choice.

Well what percentage of men you meet fall into your likable category?

"Most parents who don't vaccinate aren't dumb, and they don't think they're being selfish."

I have a bachelor's, masters, law degree and working on a funded PhD and in my entire educational career I have looked at notes I've taken in class maybe...5 times in my life? Including high school?

When we say it, though, it's true.

"Bonus point: there is no such thing as a New York strip steak. It's a Kansas City strip steak. It always was a KC strip, and it always will be. Calling it a New York strip is just marketing to people with asinine regional prejudice and/or a lack of geographic knowledge."

Alright I've listened to her argument and it seems like she's arguing that the court should have ruled as a factual matter that it was genocide, instead of simply holding that the legal determination had not been made. I have to be honest, her argument was not altogether clear on exactly what she's asking for. At

(by the way, I agree with the main point of the article, that it's ridiculous and insulting to ask her about what she's wearing in court).

Do you have a link to any pleadings? Each of the news stories I've seen reporting it indicate they are appealing the vacating of the conviction.

Absolutely not; first, I said she was "more likely" to defend war criminals than prosecute them, which is true, not that she is defending a war criminal in this case, or that she was acting as a defense attorney currently.

"When will the media understand that George married way the fuck up and that he is Amal's trophy husband???"

"the one where she prosecutes war criminals."

"casual and grace under fire next to that manspreader."

Plus it doesn't look like his leg is even touching her, as opposed to touching her jacket.

Might be easier for you, but life definitely wouldn't be easier for him...

Yep, I'm a lot bigger than Kamau (heightwise, and until recently weightwise) and I have spent my life developing mannerisms to not intimidate people because of it, but the whole being white thing makes it easier. Can't imagine how much rougher it would have been for me if I was black.

For some reason I first thought the male soldier was Boba Fett.

I think you raise a good point, and have it mostly right, with a few caveats:

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.

Maybe everybody should be treated a little better?
