I think the Lion King soundtrack was pretty brilliant

And whatever that one was where he interviewed insects
It's also an issue for me that Demi Lovato's version changes the lyrics just enough that it undermines the song's power as a coming-out anthem. Lovato sings at one point, "Standing, frozen / in the life I've chosen." What… no… I'm pretty sure Elsa was born that way.
No, they were laughing at white America's refusal to see anything with a black cast. USA Today called Best Man Holiday a "race-themed film" even though it has fuck-all to do with race, it just has black actors. The sketch was brilliant, not racist against Madea/Tyler Perry/etc.
I also noticed in this episode that, every time Kurt becomes emotional and teary-eyed, like when Whoopi told him he'd done well, his lips balloon up and become insta-chapped. It's quite fascinating really.
Thank you for, once again, explaining to me exactly what I hated about this show.
I love when the show sets up the formula for a joke and then uses it several times in the episode. They've done it the last few weeks, where several jokes among different characters have the same structure. It's an amazingly subtle way to reinforce their friendship
I completely missed that… Time to re-watch!
