My dream of becoming an Adrienne Barbeaubot might be a reality someday....I'm tearing up just thinking about it.

Based on the game’s sense of humor, that rating is right in its demographic wheelhouse.

That’s how it’ll all start!

There’s three models — a Gracie O’Malley model, an Anne Bonny model, and a Cheng I Sao model! A pirate queen for all tastes!

Y0u scurv3y d0gs!

It’s like when they fire the guy stealing office supplies to make a point. Everyone does it, they just got rid of the one who was caught.

Right? I’ve never even been married.

I like Soulmate-ty

a man who turns to an AI-powered sex robot “to cope with the loss of his dead wife.”’

Truly one of the greatest of his generation. I mean sheesh, where do you even start?

Those aren’t lore gaps, those are intentional omissions. They’re uninteresting at best and actively detrimental to answer at worst.

“These shows require a vision that elevates and transforms, as well as delivers what audiences have come to expect, which is an ambitious and risky endeavor. It requires people to take the leap with me.”

Yes, how the sausage is made, who wouldn’t want to see that?

But at this point is there any lore they could come up with that would feel satisfying? I feel like there’s a distinct reason they haven’t elaborated on his background and/or the curse.  It’s one of those cases where I feel not knowing is more interesting than knowing, but that’s just me.

This sounds like basically every other Bryan Fuller TV show
