Yeah, depends on how rights were negotiated. Typically they did 10 year deals since the industry was pretty short-sighted.

The analog stick is pretty much the arcade joystick shrunk down to be used by the thumb. Innovative in that you changed it from full-hand to thumb use, but still just an evolution of an old idea.
