Taking place during he Soviet-Afghan War and not having a single mujahideen is weird. It really seems like the setting was begging for you to infiltrate a base while it was under full alert from an attack.

I never did beat MGS1 or MGS4.  1 I had on a rental years ago and 4 I didn’t buy until I had a PC way more powerful than a PS3.  Should finish them this year I guess.

I think it’s doable, but you’d need to have ALL vehicles on the road communicating with a sensor suite. Doesn’t matter if there’s one human driving among 100 automated cars if they all know what each one is doing and what each one sees.
