Part of the problem is they used a lot of contractors in the beginning and contracted out a studio to do the FPS portion. Now all of that is almost 100% in studio with handpicked people (they also got a lot of former Crytek devs from when they had issues) who know CryEngine. So this should be a lot smoother going…
