I thoroughly enjoyed each individual encounter of Caroline rejecting Ted, but taken as a whole above, I wonder if she might be on the spectrum? I don’t know much about that, I freely admit, but something about that stare makes me wonder. Please do not excoriate me for asking.

I worry about her a lot. A kid doesn’t run away from her father like that for no reason. Once, okay, she’s grumpy. But twice....That is a bad sign.

I have wondered to myself if she’s also a little on the spectrum but who knows really. It’s not like most children respond well to being paraded around like a trained poodle among a sea of scary adults and loud noises.

Her burdened, forlorn “are you fucking kidding me” face evokes what we’re all feeling, but she’s just a kid thrust into an unimaginably awkward situation. I think the world owes it to her to leave her alone now.
