They greys are more rabidly racist than usual. Michael Harriot keeps those honks well triggered, and i’m here for it!

While the 9/11 attacks were horrific (I still remember that morning with awful clarity) and had the highest body count, they don’t negate all the other things that went on that year. And, of course, they managed to inspire a wave of hate crimes; look up Balbir Singh Sodhi.
You forgot #notallwhitepeople and a reference to Chicago
But then you have to start explaining nuanced things like over-policing, a two tiered legal system, redlining, tax bases and a host of insidious shit that leads to death by a thousand cuts. If they can’t grasp this stuff when Monique or Breanna or Anne or pic one writes about it, how can a bunch of Smart Alec’s in the…
I knew when I read the title the greys would be out en masse, and I was not wrong. The following message is a PSA to anyone raging at this article right now:
But.. but.. but..
So... as of right now, the total number of comments says 76, but the community only has 26 comments. Therefore, I’m gonna assume that the greys are a complete and total trash fire.
It truly is baffling. How horrible does your life have to be to come to a website - occupied and run by people you don’t like - to post questionable “facts” in order to insight some type of argument. True vampires in every sense of the word.
First +100 for the title and second, while I wouldn’t call what happened to Marcus Williams a murder, he dead just the same.
Yup, it is a very solid movie, if you don’t expect the second comming, you will not be dissapointed.
But it is an endearing movie that left a strong impression on me.
Good story, characters that you care about (new and old), mystery, conflict and action. It was everything it needed to be. It’s also a bit of a sequelboot, but a successful one, unlike Superman Returns.
“The number one challenge this movie faced was making us care about its brand new characters”
He is really fantastic in TFA. The acting overall is pretty superb.
I’ve seen TFA, and it lives up to the original trilogy (your placement may differ, but it’s at least on a par with ROTJ, but more consistent, and some of the acting is superb. The original trio have improved greatly and it’s utilised). I’m not that enamoured by Fury Road either.
Great review Charlie and thanks for keeping it clear of spoilers! Ahh finally, finally I can start to forget the bloody prequels. Finally I can enjoy bb8 in all it’s cute and cuddly wonderfulness. Boyega and Ridley you are a legends, you’ve done London proud. Best of all, I can take the piss out of Star Trek fans all…
It is as if millions of voices suddenly sighed in relief.
“The characters in The Force Awakens are constantly dwarfed by their environments, and when we visit a desert planet or a snow planet, there’s a pleasing sense of massiveness in the background, with the characters often looking startled in the foreground.” This. This right here makes me so excited. This is something…
I’m not surprised. I figured that adopting an approach similar to what Marvel does would prevent a complete missing of the mark like with the prequels. There are just too many creative voices for things to go too far off track. And even if one of the movies disappoints, they can instantly respond to criticism and move…
But does it pass the Bechdel Test!?
