No, she hasn’t had a renaissance, and no, she doesn’t deserve one.

That just shows that diversity hires are a good idea.
The only person too cool for school is someone who’s already graduated. Don’t be a Debbie Dropout. Stay in school.
She got stuck in the role and had a really hard time breaking out of it. It wasn’t until Anchorman that I think she got a chance to move beyond it.
She was really good on Married with Children. I remember this one episode where Bud made fun of her for being slutty, but then she got him right back with a crack about him being a virgin loser. It was really funny.
Are you saying you weren’t aware that the period following the premiere of the Sopranos is referenced to as TV’s golden age, or are you saying sarcastically that you are aware, but consider it far from golden?
I don’t think they can realistically have him around to the present day and still be a main character.
I was speaking about prestige TV, but maybe most popular wasn’t the right way to put it. There was a while where the shows with the most buzz (Sopranos, Mad Men, The Wire, Breaking Bad) were actually the best things on TV. We can only hope. It worries me to see only 3 comments on this article, but if Apple cancelled every show no one had ever heard of, they’d only have Severance.
Well Joe Koy’s career is as dead as Gallagher’s.
I was losing faith in him to do something good again, but season 5 of Fargo has been a return to the quality of the first two. I liked his work so much that I even read his novel, and boy was that a mistake.
Which 20% do you find good? It started out leaning too much into silly comedy, but as it went on the Trek in-jokes have become the focus. At the same time, some episodes have reminded me of stories they would have done on 90's Trek. It’s the current Trek show I enjoy the most, narrowly beating out Strange New Worlds.
I saw Gallagher a few years ago. Didn’t sit close enough for the melon smashing. Really regretted it, but the tickets were just too expensive.
Gallagher sucks.
Gallagher’s famous in comedy circles.
They’re in opposition to serious dramas.
There was an SNL sketch about a gameshow called What Is Burn Notice? The premise was that the contestants had to answer questions about the show that at the time was going into its fifth season, and no one knows anything about it. That’s all I know about the show.
Isn’t this true of most successful bands? There are very few still putting out worthwhile popular work after tgeir first 10 years.
I think he’s just a nerd.
Better than killing an actor. Nobody said it wouldn’t make filming a giant slog, but better to slog your way through a film than a funeral.
