I fee like he died at least as many times in the comics

Ya there was a trend at that time to take up the entire CD run time, but albums above 45 minutes are rarely all killer no filler.

Oh good. That’s what I hoped you meant. Probably could have cut out all the segues and gotten it to a tight 50 minutes, and it would be as good as Earthling. Don’t really meed the narrative since he never continued the series.

Don’t exclude Outside.

I would say it about TNG season 4. It’s a close call between this and season 3 and 5, but 4 only has one real stinker (Legacy), and otherwise solid episodes, plus all time classics The Best of Both Worlds part 2, Brothers, Remember Me (best Crusher episode), Future Imperfect, Qpid, Data’s Day, The Drumhead, and Half A

Winnie the Poo.

Don’t really hurt anyone? They’re stabbing people!

+1 baby’s first character study

This actually sounds like a very standard biopic (was going to say good movie, but there’s no way any studio would make anything more than a paint-by-numbers version of this).

Seems like he’s more effective than Mayim at least.

I enjoyed it. I don’t think it’s particularly good, but it’s one if those movies that I enjoyed because it tried something (unsuccessfully) instead of just doing what everybody else does. I understand the irony of this statement in relation to the fact that it completed rips off another filmmaker.

It’s metal like Motley Crue was metal.

He doesn’t come across as a guy who doesn’t care. For all his schlock, he’s not some cynical ripoff artist just in it to make a buck. I think he believes in what he’s doing.

There’s something to be said for an artist’s vision. Even if the vision is terrible, it’s preferable to the studio Frankenstein version.

Snyder is good argument against directors.

There was that guy who remade* Birth of A Nation. Seemed like it was gonna be a pretty big deal, and then he basically vanished.

Do you even watch the show?

If you don’t know what the Jeopardy GOAT is then I don’t need to continue This conversation. That’s told me all I need to know.

Just saying something isn’t deep. You have to explain it. Give some examples. Ken’s closer to Bart Simpson than Principal Skinner. The guy got in trouble for making a joke about hot chicks in wheels chairs. He’s not some stuffed shirt.

Ken’s no Alex. He doesn’t have that 70’s manliness that game show hosts used to have. But no one apart from Tom Bergeron does that knock-off Dean Martin schtick anymore. Alex himself had become much more professorial by the time Ken showed up as a contestant.
