We did basically the same thing with a piece of Ikea furniture. I can't remember the name now and I think it is discontinued, but it was a teak-like wood lattice box, about the size of a foot locker with a removable top - just cut an 8" square hole in one end and voila!

I also have WfW 3.11 running on a virtual.

If you want a *real* writing instrument, forget roller balls, gel ink or even fountain pens....

After jamming my index finger years ago, I had to hold the shaft of the pen/pencil between my index and middle fingers and grip the tip as I normally would; it it almost impossible to grip too tightly and I've found it makes my handwriting look much nicer, from the older days of *writing*, not scrawling.

Fake tilt-shift can be a fun toy to play with in your digital darkroom, but it is often over-done or applied to an inappropriate image.

Jenna Elfman is hot.

Yeah, this is a kit from Ikea.

1. Pack less, not more.

Both. I maintain the landline mainly for emergency use - if the cell system goes down (which it does) or for dialing 911 (E911 address identification).

It depends; if a meeting start time has come and gone and I am the senior person in the room, I have a strict five minute rule; if the majority of the attendees haven't shown by start + 5, meeting cancelled and I leave.

The speech-to-text engine at Google Voice definitely needs some work; I'm getting about a 50% success ratio on the transcripts. It seems to do better with female voices instead of male; maybe due to the higher pitch or that females tend to speak more clearly? Dunno.

"Oh my God, why Chinese?" - FTFY.

@mohkahn: A nice MP3 of a Remington 870 jacking a round in to the chamber, followed by a Clint Eastwood-esqe voice "Oh... fuck yeah... again".

Forgot to add this link:

People always over-pack, especially when going to a foreign country.

@jupiterthunder: Special deal, this week only... $13.83 per cubic acre.

A plastic Bundt cake pan might do the same thing and reduce the complexity a bit.

@robogobo: "much better results"

I spent about four hours clicking through the collection... didn't find anything worth saving.
