I'm sure this has been covered before, but can you tell me whether you use Android or iOS and why? With the iPhone coming to Verizon, and my upgrade coming a couple weeks later, which should I get? Personal experience and links to some articles would be good. Thanks!

@ShadowSpectre: In case you don't know, in most places, servers only make $2.13 an hour. It's people like you that make us upset and less attentive.

@Nitesh: Cool! Thanks for the help!

@scottwildco: Have you used these/do you own one? Also, do you know if you can use any Android application on it? Or only pre-selected ones?

I know I'm a little late, but does anyone know of a device that is similar to an iPod Touch, but has the Android OS?

@xvkarbear: This is how we do it at the restaurant I work at as well, so I recommend this.

No way! Facebook has enough of my personal info as it it. Also, who knows how long Facebook will last anyway? Just look at MySpace...

@Kay-Ell: Also, you can just use a USB extension cable.

@MariusSuciu: I got an 8GB OCZ Rally2 for my birthday and love it. I just checked Amazon and they have it for $21.

@pinecone99: Thanks for the link to the couch to 5k program. It's inspired me to start running too!

@comodidit: I have a Samsung Q430-11 with Windows 7 Home Prem

@oneshot719: I'm using Windows 7 Home Premium on a Samsung Q430-11. I have it set to sleep when I close the lid, but when I open it the only button that wakes it up is the power button.

@codyloyd: I second PayPal. Another option that most credit card companies offer are temporary online numbers that you can use in place of the number on your card to make purchases online.

Quick question: How can I get my laptop to wake up from sleep when I open the lid (like on Macs)? Is it hardware specific?

Sunglasses, Microfiber cloths for the windows, bright flashlight, extra brake fluid for the manual transmission, iPod and charger, GPS, fire extinguisher, pens, notebook, headphones, car maintenance records, tissues, change (coins), and my work ID badge. The nice part is, I never see any of it because it all fits in

@senshikaze: That is just like VA! I totally agree.

@kake81: Lucky for you! Down in Virginia Beach it is really humid and the temps right now are around 95!

@dboudwin: We use Symantec Endpoint Protection which is a very good product, although calls to customer service take forever! For filtering we use Barracuda, which is the best I have found yet.
