Valve. Period.

Honestly, there's partial truth to this. If people buy glasses TV's, the demand won't be there to push for glasses-free. So yea, 10 years is a reasonable estimate. The technology just isn't quite "there" yet. (3DS doesn't count due to the VERY different intent of the tech)

Funny you should say that. I went to college and had ~6 routers. I would only use 2 at a time (one as a bridge) but I always kept backups. One of my classrooms had bad wifi, so I plugged a smaller router into the wall at the beginning of class and picked it up on the way out.

That's like if you said:

It's tricky like that. I'm a developer. I'm a fan of SOME hackers.

Agreed 100%. I'm sick of this nonsense. Yes, in principle, if I own something, I should be able to do what I want with it. People need to figure out the morality/ethics of all things, rather than just taking the side of "FREEDOM REIGNS OVER ALL ELSE!!!"

I'm hoping to run wire through my walls eventually. I'm not a big fan of the powerline adapters, if I can avoid them, personally. Not quite sure why, yet. Just doesn't feel "right".

Time is the #1 reason I've opted to play more online than off, in the past 2 or 3 years. I started my career, and inflexibility of my time means I would be building up a HUUUUUUUUGE backlog, if I was to play through everything I wanted to. I already have a "long" backlog, based on how long I play games in the

Short story: it matters. I just entered the "real world" in 2009. (Graduated from college, started a career) One thing I've noticed is that there is a distinct difference between the way I play games today and the way I played in high school.

Time to point out that, if it's an option, ethernet is ALWAYS better than Wifi. Wifi is an "inferior" technology, except in convenience. It is less secure as well as slower, so for anything important it should ideally be handled by ethernet.

Yes. This is one of the MANY misconceptions with networking these days.

If you're going down that route, make sure you write the negatives in large, bold, red lettering...

I've "only" been working here for 7 months or so...but I haven't customized my workspace at all. The most I have is a sticker who was placed there by a coworker I eat lunch with who thought my workspace was too dull. Plus, we had just been given free stickers. (From a conference)

Yep—I still love Citi Forward. It just seems that a lot of people left out the fact that the "points" are variable in value. So you can't expect "5x reward points" to translate to 5% dollar value. It's something that a lot of people might overlook and so I figured I'd take the time to share what info I've

The Amazon card now allows you to redeem 5000 points for $50 cash. Just not at the $25 level.

I wanted to take this opportunity to clarify something for everyone out there right now. Citi Forward is, indeed, an amazing card. It is my "primary" card, although I do currently have more than 1 credit card.

I stick with Chrome/Fox now. It used to be Opera/Fox, but I too noticed too many issues with specific pages not being rendered properly. It's a shame, because I've always supported Opera as my #1 browser (well, "always" meaning "since I discovered Opera) but its reliability just was never resolved to the point of my

Most likely it didn't increase in speed. Because it already did PREVIOUSLY.

VOTE: Citi Forward

Now all I need is to jump a time machine to Dec. 26, 2010.
