I'm VERY excited for this peripheral. I'm not one for the plastic shells, but the gun peripherals just "make sense" because it feels very unnatural to shoot with your arm in the "wand" position rather than the "gun" position (horizontal vs. vertical)

Only time I did it intentionally was to make sure it was working when I first built my app...never again, never since.

@potka: Seriously? You're going to start to insult me because I think something that doesn't fit in a pocket is less portable than something that fits in a pocket?

@PositivelyGreg: Yea, "portable" shrank down to the size of the Game Boy Micro (admittedly too small), hovered for a while around the iPhone's general size range, and now is blowing back up to unpocketable proportions...

@SCN55: PSPGo is VERY pocketable. Only problem is Sony screwed over everyone who bought a PSPGo by not providing proper support for it. But my point remains, the PSPGo was very much a pocketable device...

Aaaaaand this is why I won't be getting one. The definition of the term "portable" is changing way too fast for me...

Great article as usual. Definitely didn't disappoint on that request I made for more command line gems!

@ddhboy: Doubtful. There are 2 paths Sony could take here.

@Afrocass: If you can't have it on your shelf, then the point is to...play it? I think that's the point whether you can have it on your shelf or not, actually...

It's hard to get useful feedback even if you don't explicitly ask for any. My recommendation would be to just present your product/idea/etc. just to offer it. Sure, you can say "let me know if you have any questions", but more than that and you run the risk of "tipping the pitch", as they say.

@charlieFirpo: Probably was when the ORIGINAL text was written. 2010 refers to the original author's argument, not the Lifehacker article.

Maybe I matured faster, but I am of the opinion that after the age of ~16, you've likely gained the capacity to understand the repercussions of your actions, and should have responsibility for your actions.

For some reason I have a REALLY strong urge to yell "I choose you, Pinot Noir!"

@sansa: Conveniently enough, all of my chairs are too low. I'm over 6' tall and I find that my legs get uncomfortable and restless because of the way they bend to reach the floor. As a result, my posture suffers as well, as I hunch over more.

@versii: I am aware of that—I'm just saying that EyeFi cards sending only to the computer still might not make sense for as big of an audience.

@gary_7vn: Suggestion: I think most of the reason is that EyeFi, in its very nature, is a "consumer" oriented product.

@Klappstuhl: I'm almost certain EyeFi would have such things figured out.

@killakoopa: I noticed that as well. But I wasn't going to comment because things are always translated/named differently abroad than here so I thought "eh, maybe...".

@HeartBurnKid: Agent of R.O.A.C.H.: I don't think they do updates to the Messenger app via the Market. MOST (not all) of the software that's included out of the box doesn't get its updates via the Market because it's considered an integral part of the phone's software. Exceptions seem to be reserved for significant
