Just add water? That's easy!
@murmur000: My intention is to agree with you about art being "undefined" in most senses. My understanding of his point was that art could be defined on an individual by individual basis, AND that his definition was not completely defined.
@imTheKing: Well, I am only familiar with it from what I've seen and heard—I do not personally own an iPhone (of any generation) so I can't be more specific.
@Quilt: Yes...that's the real issue though. Everyone has that mentality, so actually overhauling the standards in the US would be very difficult and be met with a LOT of resistance.
@Leanid: Yep, and I studied engineering (technically computer, but classes involve physics, math, etc.) so I have a good grasp of it. And I know that there are about ~1.61km per mile, and ~2.54cm per inch. And liquids, I would prefer metric for everything except milk, soda, and gasoline, lol. (I don't know the…
@imTheKing: ALL cars can "burst into flames". ALL engines "can give out".
Man...I wish we could use the metric system. It makes way more sense than ours does.
Jon Ive says, "we can end up isolated from the physical world", as if Apple hardware design developers were in touch with the physical world when developing the iPhone 4.
I almost posted my original response, which was way off base, from what I read here on Giz. After clicking through, however, I have come to my conclusion.
@brieflyforever: No one really WANTS to switch, is the problem. Well, some may want to switch off of AT&T, but the reason they are ON AT&T is due to the iPhone. And they want to keep using the iPhone, for various reasons. (Familiarity, "trendiness", whatever their reasons may be)
@nikankwon: The LAST thing I want is more Skittles...
@AmphetamineCrown: You're definitely right on this one. Charging by speed caps is unfair based on the fact that you may not ever reach that speed cap...ever. With broadband, sometimes you will get lower than advertised speeds, but generally, the capacity exists, it is just sometimes restricted by other consumers.
@Headlocker: Yea, just a shame it won't be official. I prefer to keep my expensive electronics (read: anything over $40) in its official, warranty-covered condition. But, my girlfriend is getting the Incredible...so if she gets 3.0 I might have to root so as not to be left in the dust, hahaha...
Poor Moto Droid : (
@jayp0411: Dessert names are awfully strange. But the naming scheme is A,B,C,D,E,F,G,...
@illiniphase4: Of course the best way of getting my voice heard would be on the Sony forums or via support there, (which I'm also doing) but the way I figure it, discussing it here allows others to convince ME of their opinions as well. Two-way street, and Kotaku has some of the more knowledgeable game fanatics out…
@illiniphase4: The real issue for me is that it doesn't NEED to be moot. I'm trying to make points about what the service should be, to account for its yearly (or monthly) cost. I don't expect Sony to change anything, but then again, they definitely WON'T change anything if no one makes such comments.
@buckleyneko1: Bowl-o-syruppybutter? Time to dip!
