It’s always been my dream that he dies during a rally. I imagine him stroking out and babbling only to have his crowd thinking that he’s speaking in tongues. He falls falls off the stage and his shirt and pants to split open so the world will get to see his girdle and his diaper, which of course will be full. Then

I will believe in both santa and jesus if that happens.

-Leclerc had the inside line to the next corner yet he stayed right in the exact middle of the track. He should have given his team mate more room.
-Vettel (eventually) got enough room to get by yet he squeezed Leclerc a bit more mid-straight .He didnt need to do that.

- Seb then moved left to create more space and made contact -

Leclerc gave the exact same “scare” to one of the mcclarens earlier in the race and the Maclaren moved over a bit. I view this as a racing incident. It happens all the time in F1 that when you edge up along side someone who's basically got you on the grass, that person pushes back into the track with their elbows. I

Lost in all that was the fact that we had the first podium by an outside-top-3 team in what feels like ages. Two, in fact, even if Sainz cops a penalty.

About feeling bad, Sainz “the friendly F1 ghost” may have a word with you.

i suspect he wont change his tune

People who want an M2? <shrug>

Like them or not, them Iranians keeping the old birds flying is quite a feat.

You’ll need small hands for that. I suggest employing these Jewish children.

We are Tank!

We did even better than that with the Sherman, the Firefly; someone had the bright idea of cramming a 3” (76.2mm) 17 pounder anti-aircraft gun into the turret, which involved turning the gun on its side. This made it the most powerful British tank gun of WW2, and one of the most powerful of any nation

War gets weird. The first medium tank we sent into combat was the M3 Lee/Grant. It had a 75mm gun (like the Shermans but a tad shorter) The British were all excited because they could fire a 75 mm at the Germans instead of their 40 mm (2 pounder).

I had a C63 once and I think it’s 0-60 is rated at somewhere near 4 seconds, it was so much fun, but then I didn’t accelerate that far very often because you know, other cars. I feel like a car with the ability to do 2.5 seconds you could probably do once or twice.

LOL I thought the same thing for a while. Honestly, 4 on the tree was one too many. I used to throw the Pontiac into second then switch between 2 and 3 and never stop for anything that wasn’t solid and in my way. Oh how I miss driving in the old days.

Porsche drivers be like

Hey Torch, man, thanks for a bunch of good times here. I’m sorry the site is exploding due to weaponized incompetence, but if it’s any consolation the work you and your colleagues do is great, and I am confident it will soon be recognized by someone who knows how to, say, own and operate a media website.

The only thing CNET is crashing is computers. Jalopnik on the other hand...

while we haven’t been invited to drive it yet
