    A season finale ending with clips from a future episode.  Another surreal moment brought to you by COVID-19.

    Okay. I was picturing him as Melanie’s benefactor, with additional support from ticket sales. Regardless, he’s gone. And if Melanie’s story is true, that’s a good thing.

    Wilford probably paid for it all. His wealth was essential for the train’s existence, but Melanie saw how the man’s decadence would bring it all crashing down.

    If I ignore most of the content of previous episodes, this one can stand pretty solid on its own. Until the end, with Pike (oh yeah, that guy) being unveiled. Nothing about that makes sense: that Nolan would know which Tailie was Layton’s nemesis, that Nolan would believe unearthing Pike would be an effective move,…
