Somehow, I never heard about his reputation. But a search brought up some pretty condescending, diva-like quotes.

Why do the I Learned Nothing guys hate Anthony Daniels?
Did she “look”? I heard “But you’re nothing like him.” Either way, though it’s possible the real Elliot’s face doesn’t look like the Mastermind’s, that would contradict last week, where we view things from real Elliot’s time-loop perspective and he was still played by Rami Malek.
I don’t understand why Johnson gets sole blame for Luke’s character change. The Force Awakens was the first to show Luke had abandoned friends and family, leaving their enemies to grow stronger. Johnson got stuck with explaining how on earth Luke could have become so disillusioned.
I remember reading that at the time and wanting to know full details. I like the notion that the Force has much greater things on its mind than human power struggles. I wouldn’t have trusted Lucas to do these ideas justice by himself, but at least, like the prequels, they’d be new stories instead of retreads.
Dear Mr. Lucas,
I’ve heard Gavin say there were four seasons mapped, one corresponding to each element. We had Earth coming up next, then concluding with Air. If at all possible, I’d love to hear a summary of where things were heading.
Before TLJ started filming, Abrams said he liked the script so much he wish he was directing it himself. He’s quite the fair-weather friend.

It’s way too common with “true stories” that something is invented to give the “villain” an extra flaw—or the “hero” an extra achievement. In this case, the circumstances are enhanced by current politics and Olivia Wilde’s public statement. It all adds to the drama. But the bottom line for me is accuracy—and the…
Unless there’s strong evidence the reporter (Kathy Scruggs) got her info through sex, even just inferring it in the film is despicable. And questioning whether Scruggs has been defamed in this way isn’t an act of sexism. It’s about defending a deceased person’s reputation.
In hindsight, my comment is harsher towards Hamill than intended. The real aim was to defend Johnson. And give side-eye to The Force Awakens team.
I lost some respect for Mark Hamill when he kept publicly trashing Johnson’s take on the Luke Skywalker character. If he wanted to rant, a better target would have been J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan. Their Force Awakens script gave us a Luke who abandoned his friends and family while they continued to fight and die.…
Please borrow my time machine.
I do think the Impossible patties taste like beef. But in the better versions (not Burger King), the texture was more like tender meatloaf than solid hamburger.
No, I haven’t tried Beyond Meat yet. I’ve heard people say it smells like cat food, but that hasn’t dimmed my curiosity.
I’ve had Impossible Burgers in three forms: White Castle sliders, Burger King Whoppers, and a more gourmet preparation from a place in Pittsburgh called Burgatory. As far as taste, Burgatory’s offering was far superior. The White Castle version is pretty good, too. But I could only taste the patty of the Impossible…
I enjoyed the Rose character. She wasn’t a minor player, but it may be easier to think of her that way if you didn’t like her scenes. Here’s what I remember:
My Peaks obsession was confined to the series and reading Laura Palmer’s diary. When Fire Walk With Me was released, it brought me back down to earth. FWWM and Inland Empire are my least favorite Lynch films. So, I was already cautious going into The Return. That is, until I read The Secret History of Twin Peaks. That…
I was already a fan before the political bullshit, but Taking the Long Way took them to masterpiece level.
