I'm frankly relieved that I no longer have the burden of spoilers, I am very much looking forward to watching the show and being surprised!

His son is from a previous marriage and is 44. It's not a sexism thing- just that his son is already an adult.

I wish I knew you IRL to get on the list- these are amazing!

One time I saw him at an event and he told this story about how he was at a grocery store in line behind a woman with a young child and the child said, “can I have a candy bar?” and the mom said no. So Daniel picked up two candy bars and informed the kid he was going to buy himself two candy bars because he was a

Yes, absolutely! I mean, imagine trying to pay bills not knowing when your next damn check is coming! And contractors! There’s a whole system if govt contractors, too!

I ordered a spencer once from a dressmaker and we communicated through Pride and Prejuidice-”do you want one like Lizzie is wearing when she talks to Wickham in (this scene)?” “No, I want the one where she’s walking town in (this scene)“

I’ve been to the one in Louisville, KY! (That challenged their Regency dress record) it’s nice- if you can’t make it to Bath, check it out. I think there's a big difference between modern corset style trainers and real Victorian corsets. Since it was for a film based in the Victorian era, that's the type she was wearing. I know I find those super uncomfortable- they just don't support the bust the way we are used to with modern clothing.

it does sound rather festive!

team 100% Edith for life! Loved her "so can we see your sketches?" 'Cause she knew damn well there weren't any...

I may have to reread those with Idris Elba in mind! Thanks!

Really, with slavery in the South, massacre of American Indians in the west, misogyny everywhere the only question to ask if you want to know if horrible shit went down in a place is - were people there?

I thought the same thing! Turns out my honey would actually rather do housework and projects than sit and read. Which is much better overall since that means stuff is getting done while I sit and read!

She had to wrangle the Palin family. I believe she has many opinions about them.

that sounds really cute! I would be so happy my kid was into reading if one did that
