All those fancy engineers think every nut and bolt is a necessity but, if working on my own car is any indication, I could take an F1 car apart and put it back together and have at least 2 or 3 bolts left over that weren’t needed.

Compared to those, yes, but the Type-R cars from Honda were never designed to compete with anything. They were meant to be a track toy that can be a daily driver. Honda knows that the faithful will line up and buy a Type-R in whatever numbers they build even if it’s ridiculously slow compared to the current offerings…

I wonder how many of the people barking about how “ugly” this is think the Corvette sytling is just awesome......

people, this is a Type R. It’s not supposed to compete with a WRX. It’s supposed to be crazy. Maybe they could tone it down a notch, but all these people hollering like it should be an Si are missing the plot. Only thing: that scoop would be hella dope if it was on one side of the hood.
