I took a quote from Obama's statement immediately afterward, when there were no suspects and no one had claimed responsibility. He focused more on complimenting first responders as there were over 250 people injured but only 3 fatalities.

I guess better phrasing for my original statement would be that he looks fine when moving, in film, but still pictures he doesn't seem to know how to give the best angles for his face (definitely not straight-on like the pic above, but the photographer really should have been directing that).

His job is film, not modeling. Unless he's also a model.

He doesn't seem to photograph well. I'd only seen pictures of him until watching Midnight Special, and he looks better when it isn't a still picture.
