I’m going to have to direct inject insulin if I’m not careful.

Lucky you, my doctor told me that my love of deli meats is going to kill me.

Hell yes. Sign me up. Spirit/Frontier prices are a literal 1/3 of other airlines for most of the routes I fly. I will gladly choose mild discomfort for $100/hour of savings.

Flying spirit is a game at this point for me. Once you know the rules and the gotchas it's not bad for small hops.

Good! This is how it should have always been.  Now make it so we can order certain things WITHOUT having to get other things that we do not want.

I love this take if only because it clearly demonstrates that whether today, yesterday or 40 years ago the older generation was ALWAYS more than happy to literally kill the younger one in order to keep doing shitty things in the shitty way they always had. Remarkably this attitude persisted well into the 90's and I’m

Um.... I buy a stick? Indeed, I’m picking up my Mazda3 GT Sport 6MT in this colour combo this week. I had to order it because there were only 5 in country and they were White, Black or Silver and I wanted the Polymetal/Red mix. The turbo is nice don’t get me wrong, but it’s burdened by the automatic (and a DCT would

America needs to stop being so damn paranoid and racist about national borders.

America needs to stop being so damn paranoid and racist about national borders.

HOAs are a pox on America. They exist as a means by which to exclude people from neighborhoods, they are racist and classist in nature and practice.

You have more faith in America than I do.

Honest question - do you actually think auto dealers have the power to execute and control vehicle OTA features and manage subscriptions?

BOOOO!!!

I don’t get your argument... if the head unit was capable of Android Auto, why would you want to pay a subscription to use it?  Or are you suggesting that it would be cool if you could pay a small amount of money and magically have capabilities added to your vehicle that it was never initially intended to have in the

They typically have a small cover over/inserted into them that either has to be removed or popped open. New Benzs do not use the hole style and have more familiar scissor style jack.

A bent Mercedes Benz OEM tire jack. The small round part goes into a hole in the sill plate built into the body of all older MBs. Its a really sketchy way to jack a car up. I’ve never seen a bent one till now, the jacks are not stable.

It’s broken/bent. The fitting pointing down plugs into a socket in the side of the car. To the right in that image is the tube that holds the screw that extends. The screw that is supposed to be straight. On the left is the crank to operate that screw.

Is this where the "weird, I figured you'd get to sleep with her for free, unlike the rest of us" joke goes?

I love Harbor Freight for what it is, but it’s definitely hit-or-miss. I have some amazing tools from there - like a $25 2-in-1 brad nailer/stapler that I’ve probably put 25,000 fasteners through without one jam. But I’ve also bought the worst set of spade and Forstner bits I’ve ever used - completely dull. Replaced
