To the guy looking at Type R’s, why don’t you rent one for a few days on Turo (no relation, unfortunately for me) and see if you like it before blowing several thousands on a car you might hate.

Just send it, the wheels should be fine but you’ll definitely cut the life of your street tires (so maybe don’t send it if you are not in a financial situation to do so) but not so much that you’ll need to replace them the next day. Weird, did a roadtrip in it last year of around 14 hours with a couple of small stops and had no problems. Sucks man, it’s a great car. Though, I would like a slightly lower seating position, or ideally wouldn’t have gotten a sun roof, get’s in the way of a helmet but in the end it’s the wife’s car.
