Only reason I say binoculars is because he only had one hand up, I would think if he was taking photos at the time of the crash, he would be using both hands to steady the shot. Looks to me like he was looking past the car and thus he didn’t realize he was about to get creamed.

I know the metric system and I wish we used it but every time I hear a unit of measurement in metric I have no frame of reference. Obviously that would change if we switched but I wonder if that’s part of the hesitation.
