They can be. For some people just being in a place where there are nuts can cause a reaction. Slightly unrelated because it’s cinnamon and not nuts, but I knew a woman who couldn’t be in the same room with someone who had eaten a cinnamon roll for breakfast because it would be on their breath and causing a reaction.
