While Back to School might’ve been added to the album post-release to try to give it another hit, it existed in some form before the album was officially released. This was during the Napster heyday, and the entire album leaked online before it came out, and it included a slightly longer version of Back to School

But Disney let him do that, which meant there was no plan to begin with.

I’ve replayed it recently, and while I like the entire game tons and do consider it my favorite game of all-time, I will wholeheartedly agree that Midgar is the most interesting place in the whole game and the rest (sans Gold Saucer, Junon, and maybe Costa del Sol because it’s the perfect beach resort town with

I wonder if Daniella Pineda finished filming Cowboy Bebop or if it’s still in filming “hiatus” after John Cho’s injury on set was supposed to set the production back for a really long time. I know people are skeptical of a live action Cowboy Bebop show, but I’m looking forward to seeing her take on Faye Valentine.

I’ll admit, early on in Bob’s Burgers run hearing the men’s voices come out of the mother and eldest sister was pretty off-putting. But do I think it’s part of a systemic problem where male actors are taking all the jobs away from female actors? No, it’s just a stylistic choice that seems a bit wrong to me and might

Zoe Kravitz voiced the very white and very red-headed Mary Jane Watson in Into the Spiderverse. Laura Bailey voiced and did the motion capture for Nadine, a very South African black woman, in the last two Uncharted games. Women have voiced young male characters for decades in TV shows, cartoons, movies and video

You take that back! Limitless was solid from the get-go and quickly surpassed the quality of the movie in my opinion. It had a heart to it the movie never possessed, and Jake McDorman was great in the lead role. It felt like the show Chuck to me but was far less silly. I still lament its cancellation. If it had started

And it was glorified fans that made Sonic Mania, arguably the best Sonic game in 20+ years, too. It’s like, hmm, maybe the big companies should listen to the fans more often. At least the civil, talented ones.

There are some glaring omissions here. GTAV, even if I wasn’t blown away by it, doesn’t even get a mention. And I LOVE Bioshock Infinite, but The Last of Us should’ve been 2013's highlight (okay, 2013's highlight should be GTAV, but I’m biased against it, I guess).

I never freeze.

If I remember correctly, I think that making a billion dollars means that Marvel gets to keep the partnership a little while longer. And that’s good, because --SPOILERS — I’m really looking forward to part 3 a lot now that Peter’s been outed as Spider-Man. Those last couple of minutes felt so right for this series.

That’s pretty interesting. I just think the city is pretty imaginative stuff, and I can’t wait to (hopefully) explore more it in the Remake. The only parts I don’t really enjoy during it is the little bit with Aerith once you fall through the church until you get to Wall Market, and then that damn Wall climb to get to

One time I watched Quantum of Solace immediately after Casino Royale, and it works! In a lot of ways, it just feels like Casino Royale extended for another hour and 45 minutes. I enjoyed Olga Kurlyenko’s turn as Bond Girl who wasn’t even really a romantic interest (I think they might have kissed at the end, but I’m

Now playing

Transistor is one of my favorite games from the last few years, and a big reason why is because of the music. I think using Ashley Barrett as the singing voice of Red for a number of songs helps paint a picture of a world that is pretty steeped in mystery, too. You don’t ever quite know what is happening in Transistor

Well, considering they were aiming to cast Siri as the most non-white person they could for awhile, it’s a miracle they’re remaining true to the books.

I mean, he was Oscar nominated for Tropic Thunder. And he clearly deserved the nod. People think of Iron Man as his big return to the limelight, but 2008 had a 1-2 punch for him that year. This was the 2.

You just blew my mind. You... hated Midgar? Maybe it’s an age thing, or a “your first JRPG thing.” I played FFVII for the first time in 1998 and it was my first JRPG. I was totally immersed in Midgar. I always wanted to explore more of the city and get lost in it. I had never seen anything like it in a video game at

Yeah, I played it stealth with pistol and then combat was fine. It’s how a spy game should be played anyway to me. I remember liking it quite a bit, and I really did feel like the choices I made really did change things.

Except comparing Midgar to those other two portions of the game isn’t really fair. I remember back in 1998 when I first played FFVII, it took me something like 20 hours to get out of Midgar the very first time. The whole game took me about 55 hours (somehow I still remember that!). I know, how is that possible, right?

So this guy is a sociopath, right?
